The AD2083-02C Series provides economical distribution of American Dynamics RS-422 code to the SpeedDome^® Ultra and SpeedDome Optima Series domes.

Using the AD2083-02C Distributor, multiple dome sites can be driven from the powerful family of American Dynamics Matrix Switcher/Controller Systems.

The AD2083-02C outputs commands for pan, tilt, focus, iris, zoom, preset and pattern control. It can also receive alarm information from SpeedDome Ultra Series domes and relay it to an American Dynamics Matrix System. In addition, an alarm from any of the domes activates a Form C relay.

Quick-connect screw terminals and diagnostic LEDs facilitate efficient installation and service. The universal mount enables mounting to the front or rear of equipment racks, or flat on a wall or horizontal surface.

Supports presets stored in the dome and simplex RS-422 for the Speed Dome Optima LT or situations where the data return line is not available such as fiber optics or microwave links.
