Video Intelligence Analytics are uniquely bundled into VideoEdge NVRs and can be integrated with victor video management software to greatly improve the efficiency of security personnel and daily business operations. By simply allocating an analytics license to a camera, the NVR will immediately begin collecting behavioral metadata for indexing and filtering. Metadata can also be used for reporting and triggering alarms to streamline processes and augment overall productivity.
Efficiently create and analyze system data from across video, access control, and intrusion integrations with the data visualizer feature. Convert large amounts of information into easily digestible charts or graphs, providing new business intelligence.
Video Intelligence Rules:
- Crowd Formation - Select a region of interest, and when a crowd of a certain size forms an alert can be raised. Improve responsiveness to “flash mob” and other multiple offender crimes.
- Direction - Get visibility to critical situations such as individuals driving the wrong way in a parking lot, vehicles crossing the security checkpoint in the wrong direction, or track the overall movement of visitors throughout a location.
- Dwell - Automate data collection that measures how much time visitors and personnel spend in specific areas to better understand the flow of traffic.
- Enter - Count objects or people entering a specific area at different times.
- Exit - Count objects or people exiting a specific area at different times.
- Linger - This rule can be used in many settings to determine if people are staying in certain areas for suspicious/non-permissible periods of time (e.g. bank lobbies).
- Perimeter - Monitor a custom area of interest by receiving an alert whenever an object breaches or approaches a designated boundary. Ideal for tracking activity around a restricted area.
- Object Abandoned/Removed - Abandoned objects can be a huge concern, particularly in places such as airports, train stations, or other high-traffic areas. This rule can detect changes in a scene or region of interest and immediately alert users. The analytic can also spot activity such as a thief installing a skimmer on an ATM, an unauthorized person removing artwork from a display, or a vandal writing graffiti on a wall.
- Object Detection - This multi-purpose rule can be used for monitoring perimeters, zones, and tripwires by alerting operators when something out of the ordinary is in a designated field of interest.
- Queue Analysis - Use this rule to sound an alarm when a line gets too long. Analyze the data to pinpoint times during the day when lines are empty, short, medium or long to better manage cashier lines, toll lanes, etc.
Video Intelligence Capabilities:
- Color Filtering - Hone in on objects or people by searching video based on color attributes. For example, quickly find a red truck or a person wearing a green sweater.
- Heat Mapping - Easily identify traffic patterns and trends to improve promotional activities and security visibility.
- Point of Sale (POS) - Flag POS transactions when no customer is detected at the terminal. Create alarms based on pre-defined text or sales values that can be used to review video associated with suspicious activity.
- Tripwire - Used to count the number of people that cross a region of interest. People are counted going in and out.
